Paris School Receives
National Blue Ribbon Honor
On September 15, 2011, U.S. Department of Education Secretary Arne Duncan announced that Paris School is one of 304 schools in all of America to be named National Blue Ribbon Schools!
Paris is one of eight schools in Wisconsin to receive this honor. Schools may be recognized in one of two categories, Highly Improving Schools or Highly Achieving Schools. We received our award for being a High Achieving School.
I am so proud of our students, staff, school board, and community for working together to earn this prestigious honor. I have always said that Paris has the best kids and teachers around and our hard work and dedication to excellence has definitely paid off. While we celebrate this achievement, we must keep in mind that we can still get better. With continued teamwork, hard work, and positive attitudes, there are no limits to the awesome things that we can do!
