Friendship Week
Monday, February 8 - Friday, February 12
To help celebrate February's Character Trait friendship & Valentine's Day, students & staff will also be celebrating Friendship Week! Different activities will be planned throughout the week for students & classes to participate in.

• Monday: lunch with a friend
• Tuesday: Ice Cream Social with Kids Helping Kids partners
• Wednesday: POPS Store & Panther Pride Day...wear your spirit wear!
• Thursday: Guesstimation Jar & Family Night @ Burger King

Come help support the Paris POPS Committee & have dinner at the same time! A portion of all purchases made between 4:00-7:00pm (that are accompanied with a flyer) will go directly back to the students. POPS Committee sponsors the monthly POPS Store as well as yearly activities, such as Friendship Week. For additional flyers, click here.

Skyward - "Family Access"
Paris has initiated the "Family Access" portion of the Skyward student management system. Using a user name and password, parents can access specific records about the school and each of their children, including:

• school calendar (also located on the website)
• attendance information
• lunch account information
• and more!

YOU CAN HELP!
Paris School is always looking for new and innovative ways to help earn money for our students. This money is used in a variety of ways and directly benefits each and every student here at Paris. By simply doing what you and your family already do, you too can help! Listed below are a variety of programs and incentives that Paris currently participates in:

• Box Tops for Education
  Simply cut off the Box Tops logo from any of a variety of participating foods and Paris earns 10 cents per label.

• milk caps
  A variety of milk caps can earn Paris 5 cents for each cap. Simply rinse the caps from your empty cartons and send them in! Brands include:
  Golden Guernsey Kemps Land O' Lakes Qwik Trip Swiss Valley

• Campbell soup "labels"
  Clip ONLY THE UPC CODE off of participating foods (not the entire label) and Paris earns either 1 or 5 cents, depending on the food. Foods include those made by: Campbells, Pepperidge Farm, Franco-American, V-8, Prego, and more! Click here for a complete listing.
• Target Red cards
  Shop at Target? Use your Target Visa Card or your Target Card (allowed at Target stores only) and Target will donate up to 1% of your purchases back to Paris! IT'S THAT EASY! Target even offers a Target Debit card, which allows purchases to be made at Target stores only and the amount is automatically taken from your checking account. All you need to do is SHOP!

  Do you search the Internet? Then you could help Paris earn money! Simply start at goodsearch.com everytime you need to search the Internet. List Paris School as your selected school. • Pick 'n Save card
  By using your Pick 'n Save Advantage Plus card at the check-out, Paris earns a percent of your total bill! Simply designate Paris School on your Advantage Plus card account (at the Customer Service counter) or apply for one the next time your shopping. (It is simply a savings card...NOT a credit card!)

The computer lab and library will again be open to Paris families & the community during the 2009-2010 school year. Anyone interested in taking adavantage of this opportunity may do so on Monday & Wednesday evenings from 6:30 - 8:00pm.
